| Klondike and her sister, Dora, were rescued from a high school campus when they were about 3 weeks old. They were crying in some bushes, with their mother nowhere to be found. They took to canned food right away, like they were starving. Klondike looked like a tiny little polar bear when we found her, aside from her black tail. She trained herself to use the litter box when she was only about 4 weeks old, and also learned to play fetch. She found a toy she liked, and brought it to us to throw again and again. |
